Cadiz Bike Tour

Bike Tour in Cadiz Join a fun and efficient way to discover the oldest city in Europe on this bike tour sightseeing Cadiz Old quarter and New Town. This family friendly tour is designed to give you the most complete insight of Cadiz hidden corners. Meet our multilingual guide and get ready for a thrilling ride inside the 3000 years old city. Start your guided tour by taking a ride to Puerta de Tierra where you will admire the majestic city gates that separate the Old and New Town. Once in the New Town, ride along the beautiful "Playa de las Mujeres" and marvel at one of most beautiful beaches in town. Your small group will head towards Campo Sur, easily recognizable by its colorful houses facing the ocean. On the way, spot the former Royal Prison and stop by to visit the Roman Theatre, ranked second most ancient of the Roman Empire after Pompeii. Step in to admire the 2000 years old underground galleries and hear about the fascinating past of this true gem. As we reach the Cathedral, you will be stunned by the wonderful mix of Baroque and Neo Classical architecture that characterizes the imposing building. Keep navigating through the narrow streets of the historical centre, and stop by the Flower sellers square and the Market of Cadiz to step into the local life. The markets are trully charming. Back on the seafront, we will stop by the spectacular La Caleta Beach, a former Phoenician port and visit Santa Catalina and San Sebastian Castles. Your ride will take you to the botanical garden and the French style gardens of Genoves Park before moving to the romantic promenade of the Alameda Apodaca. Your friendly guide will take you to the Falla Theatre, a New Moorish edifice home of the Carnival contest of Cadiz. Take a break at a shaded terrace and sip on a freshly made sangria before moving to admire Plaza España, one of Cadiz main landmark. Cycle through Plaza Mina, former quarter of the 16th century bourgeoisie and Calle Ancha a gorgeous street filled with former residences of wealthy merchants. You will be stunned by the Tavira Tower before we head towards Plaza San Juan de Dios and the medieval Populo quarter, believed to be the oldest inhabited district in Western Europe. The tour will end close to the port of Cadiz.    

Costa de la Luz tour

Explore the Costa de la Luz and visit its most important sights on this day tour. Start your day in our comfortable A/C coach or minibus after our guide picked up right at the reception of your hotel or appartment. You will head south to reach Tarifa, the southernest point in Europe by riding along the Costa de la Luz. On your way you will be able to observe the stunning beauty of this area where verdroyant hills streches at the bottom of white towns. During the hour long journey, your guide will point at the various sightseeing before you reach the truly beautiful village of Tarifa.  You will be able to observe the Africa from the Mirador and see its shore streching at your feets. One of the highlights of the tour is Las Lances beach where the Mediteranean and Atlantic ocean meet. During the walking tour of the old town you will pas by the Guzman Castle and the city walls surroundig the city.Free time to enjoy the numerous handcraft shops or have a coffee in one of the beautiful narrow streets will be given.  Your visit will continue with a tour of the Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia in Boloña before you reach Barbate,reknowned for its tuna production. Our guide will tell you about the ancient fishing technic still in used and you will even be able to sample some of the local production.  As the afternoon stretches we will reach Vejer de la Frontera, one of the most beautiful white washed village in Andalusia.That would be a perfect spot to stop for lunch and try some of the amazing fish and sea food tapas of this region. After a break overlooking the wonderful view, we will visit the Jewish quarter, the city walls and towers as well as some of the typical  patio filled houses that makes this village so special.  After a great day, we will drop you back at your departing point.  

Day trip to Morocco

A day in Tangier Visit the vibrant city of Tangier on this cultural day trip to Morocco. Join a group and board your minicoach towards Tarifa, your point of departure to reach the African continent. Sit back and relax during the 60 minutes beautiful journey before boarding the fast ferry to Tangier.  It only takes 45 minutes to get across the strait of Gibraltar, and you may spot dolphins and other cetaceans on the way. Upon arrival, our local guide who will take you on a scenic tour of the city’s major landmarks. Start with a drive on the outskirts and reach the green upper hills of Tangier. You will marvel at the Palace of Mohammed VI of Morocco as well as the King of Saudi Arabia summer residence. Continue to Cape Spartel and watch the magical point where the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas meet. After a photo spot, get ready for a once in a lifetime experience: enjoy a camel ride on the beach! Your visit will carry on with a tour of the Caves of Hercules, which according to the legend is the place Hercules stayed and slept before accomplishing his 11th labor. Board your coach and head towards the heart of the bustling town center to navigate through the French, Portuguese, American and Spanish quarters of Tangier. The mix of culture in this area that used to be an international zone is truly amazing. Your multilingual guide will then take you on a walking tour of the Old Town commencing with a visit of the colorful spices and vegetables market. Explore the maze-like Kasbah, the Medina and the Souk before entering the Sultanate Palace, a must see in Tangier. The building courtyards which are decorated with wooden ceilings, marble fountains and arabesques, are truly amazing. This day trip includes a 3 courses lunch at a Moroccan restaurant where you’ll experience some of the most exquisite dishes of local cuisine while listening to musicians playing traditional songs. Grab the opportunity to improve your belly dancing skills! After lunch, follow your guide to learn about carpet making ancient technique, Moroccan natural medicine, and spices. Alternatively, you may simply use that time to stroll down the narrow streets picking up souvenirs from the hand craft shops or sipping on a cup of fresh mint tea at a terrace. After a beautiful day, it will be time to go back to the port where you will board your ferry back to Spain and return to your accommodation.    

White washed village day tour

Discover four white washed villages in this full day excursion through the mountain range of Cadiz. Our multilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning for an wonderful day in the Sierra of Cadiz where you will learn about the fascinating history of those jewels of Andalusia while marvelling at the incomparable scenery.  Start your day tour with a visit of Arcos de la Frontera, a village holding more than 2000 years of history. Perched majestically on the top of the hills, Arcos is surrounded by a medieval fortress overlooking the Guadalquivir river. Your guide will take you around the Old Town where you will visit Santa Maria church and its incredible interior. Follow the visit in the maze like narrow streets and reach the Maroyazgo palace and San Pedro church before seeing the "Holy S**t" balcony, named after the impression it creates when you stand on it. You will have some free time to shop in the several hand-craft souvenirs shops or purchase some locally produced wine. Carry on your tour towards Benamahoma, a tiny "pueblo blanco" sitting on the banks of  the Majaceite river. Stop to admire the natural pools and the luxurious fauna and flora and perhaps purchase some cured meat and sausages reputed for being among the very best of the region.
