Our multilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning for an wonderful day in the Sierra of Cadiz where you will learn about the fascinating history of those jewels of Andalusia while marvelling at the incomparable scenery.
Start your day tour with a visit of Arcos de la Frontera, a village holding more than 2000 years of history. Perched majestically on the top of the hills, Arcos is surrounded by a medieval fortress overlooking the Guadalquivir river. Your guide will take you around the Old Town where you will visit Santa Maria church and its incredible interior. Follow the visit in the maze like narrow streets and reach the Maroyazgo palace and San Pedro church before seeing the "Holy S**t" balcony, named after the impression it creates when you stand on it. You will have some free time to shop in the several hand-craft souvenirs shops or purchase some locally produced wine.
Carry on your tour towards Benamahoma, a tiny "pueblo blanco" sitting on the banks of the Majaceite river. Stop to admire the natural pools and the luxurious fauna and flora and perhaps purchase some cured meat and sausages reputed for being among the very best of the region.

Enjoy the incredible views that surrounds you and make sure that you have your camera on hand to capture the landscape. Take a tour of the former Moorish village with your guide and sample the "Payoyo cheese" at a local cheese factory before stopping for lunch at one of the shaded terrace.
